Healthcare consultancy Apira has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Charles Skinner as Non-Exec Chairman and Dr Robin Woolfson as Medical Director and Non-Exec Director.
Robin is a Consultant Nephrologist, originally appointed to Middlesex (UCLH) and Whittington Hospitals in 1997. He has been based at the Royal Free Hospital since 2005 where he was Medical Director (2017-19). Prior to that, he was Divisional Director for Transplantation and Specialist Services (2009-17) and Clinical Director for Renal and Hepatology Services (2006-9). In these roles, Robin has had significant managerial responsibilities with a focus on clinical service transformation. He has been the Secondary Care Doctor on the Governing Body of Buckinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group since 2016.
