Apira, an IQVIA business, is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a place on the new ICT Framework launched by the Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC) in partnership with BlueLight Commercial.

The ICT Framework has been designed to help public services across the UK procure technology products and services more efficiently, ensuring public money is spent wisely while supporting innovation and improving outcomes for local communities. By simplifying how emergency services and public sector organisations buy and use digital tools, the Framework enables faster, smarter, and more cost-effective access to critical technologies, ranging from IT hardware and software to digital transformation and data solutions.
Through this partnership, Apira joins a select group of 27 suppliers approved to deliver digital solutions that help public sector bodies including police, fire, NHS organisations, and local authorities to achieve their technology and transformation goals. The ICT Framework brings tangible benefits to communities across Northamptonshire and beyond. With supplier checks carried out in advance and maintained annually, the process ensures quality, value, and compliance, enabling public bodies to adopt digital tools more quickly and effectively. The savings generated are reinvested into policing and public services, helping ensure that every pound goes further.
Supporting Digital Excellence Across the Public Sector
BlueLight Commercial, established by the Home Office in 2020, is the national commercial body for policing. Its strategy combines regional partnerships with national scale, enabling police and fire services to engage the market with a unified voice.
Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Danielle Stone commented:
“This is about making smart choices that benefit the people of Northamptonshire. By working together nationally with BlueLight Commercial, we’re able to offer futureproof, reliable solutions that help keep our communities safe and ensure every pound goes further.”
A Strong Step Forward for Apira
