HIMSS (Health Information Management Systems Society) have accredited Apira Ltd to their Health Technology Partner Program (April 2023). Apira has now been distinguished as a company with exceptional understanding of the HIMSS EMRAM maturity model and has embarked on EMRAM maturity assessments with NHS Organisations.

‘’ We are delighted to announce that we have joined the HIMSS Digital Health Technology Partner Program. As a trusted provider to the NHS, we are delighted to offer HIMSS EMRAM assessments, empowering healthcare organisations to achieve excellence in advancing healthcare delivery, and ultimately improving patient outcomes. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our mission to support the industry’s journey towards a more efficient and patient centric future.’’

Kiran Dave, Managing Consultant

This partnership signifies our commitment to advancing healthcare through cutting-edge digital technologies. By collaborating with HIMSS, we aim to drive meaningful change, to foster innovation, and to deliver impactful solutions to healthcare organisations. Together, we will harness the power of digital technology to optimise workflows, enhance patient experience, and improve overall healthcare outcomes. We are excited to be part of this transformative initiative, working hand in hand with HIMSS to shape the future of healthcare delivery.

Being part of this programme allows Apira to work with our NHS customers in conducting their EMRAM assessment to access valuable insight into their digital maturity level and planning and supporting them to drive the complete adoption of EPRs and related clinical digital systems.

The goal of all ICS constituent organisations is to attain measurable digital maturity by 2025, and with only 20% of NHS organisations described as digitally mature in 2022, there is a pressing need for organisations to assess their own digital roadmaps for achieving this important target. The HIMSS EMRAM model is the gold standard measure, with a target of HIMSS Level 5 for all NHS hospitals.

Apira Ltd were formed in 1997 as a consultancy focused solely on digital transformation, operating across all healthcare sectors. Over the last 25 years we have supported over 150 NHS clients along their digital journeys (Business cases, Procurement, Implementation, optimisation & Benefits realisation).
