Each year, we select two charities that are close to our hearts, and for 2025, we are proud to announce our support for Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity) and Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).
These two incredible charities reflect the vital work we do in the maternity and mental health spaces, and we are excited to contribute to their efforts through donations, fundraising events, and ongoing support throughout the year.
Sands – Supporting Families Through Baby Loss
Sands is dedicated to supporting families affected by stillbirth and neonatal death, offering crucial bereavement care and working to improve maternity services to reduce the number of babies lost during pregnancy and birth. Their work includes advocacy, research, and providing resources for grieving families.
Apira has extensive experience working within the maternity space, helping to implement digital transformation that enhances the quality and safety of maternity services. By supporting Sands, we acknowledge the importance of continuous improvements in maternity care and the need for compassionate support for those experiencing loss.
CALM – Campaign Against Living Miserably
CALM is a leading charity dedicated to suicide prevention and mental health support. They provide free, confidential support via their helpline and webchat services, raising awareness about mental health struggles and advocating for better mental health resources.
Given Apira’s involvement in digital transformation within mental health services, supporting CALM aligns with our commitment to improving access to mental health care and ensuring that individuals receive the support they need when they need it most.
Our Commitment
We have made one-off donations to both Sands and CALM to kickstart our support, but our involvement will not stop there. Throughout 2025, we look forward to organising fundraising initiatives, participating in awareness campaigns, and engaging our team to further support these incredible causes.
