Apira Celebrates Milestone Achievement: Over £1 Billion in Funding Secured for NHS Clients

This achievement underscores Apira’s commitment to helping organisations in the public sector to realise their strategic goals through effective investment planning and justification and underpins our dedication to supporting NHS staff to provide patients with high quality care and an improved patient experience.

Apira’s comprehensive approach to programme management, from initial investment justification to deployment, and through to benefit realisation, has enabled numerous clients to access crucial funding for a wide range of projects which have been successfully delivered. With a dedicated Business Case practice area staffed by experienced professionals, Apira has become a trusted partner for organisations seeking to navigate the complexities of investment approval processes.

“Securing over £1 billion in funding for our clients is testament to the expertise and dedication of our team,” commented Alan Brown, Managing Director at Apira. “We are immensely proud of the impact our work has had in supporting staff and patients across various sectors, helping to ensure patients receive the best possible care and services.”

The success of Apira’s approach rests in its ability to tailor business cases to the specific needs of each organisation, whether they require a concise internal document or a comprehensive submission following the HM Treasury Green Book standards. By guiding clients through the assurance and approval process with precision and efficiency, Apira ensures that investments are justified effectively and gain approval in a timely manner.

Apira is proud to have worked with over 30 NHS Trusts on business cases over the last 5 yeas including East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust, Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. Through our partnership with the East of England Ambulance Service, we facilitated the development of compelling business case that secured essential resources including an Electronic Patient Care Record (EPcR) system and iPad devices, enhancing their operational efficiency and patient care capabilities.

Similarly, our collaboration with Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust involved the creation of a robust Outline Business Case (OBC) and Full Business Case (FBC) for an Electronic Patient Record, enabling the Trust to realise their strategic objectives effectively.

Most recently, we worked alongside Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust to support the justification and procurement of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR), further demonstrating our commitment to empowering healthcare providers with innovative solutions tailored to their needs. These successes underscore Apira’s dedication to driving tangible outcomes and facilitating positive transformation within the healthcare sector.

“At Apira, we understand that every organisation is unique, and we are committed to delivering tailored solutions that meet our clients’ needs,” said Alan Brown. “Our team’s expertise, combined with our comprehensive understanding of best practice and regulatory standards, enables us to achieve outstanding results for our clients time and time again.”
