Apira Ltd are delighted to have supported the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust with the business case and deployment of their new Maternity system which went live at the Trust this week.
The system, Clevermed Ltd’s BadgerNet Maternity Solution, which replaces three existing solutions deployed in maternity and neonatal across the NCA, was supported with funding from the NHS England Digital Maternity Fund. All NCA staff working in maternity and neonatal will now have access to this single system to support patient care, wherever they are working across the Trust.
The new system provides staff with easier system access and an improved user experience, and supports integration to other digital systems and electronic devices. It also allows staff to update records offline and automatically update and synchronise information once their device is connected to the NCA network, as well as aligning with the Digital Maternity Record Standard, ensuring that historic information can be shared between healthcare providers.
