Apira’s Festive Message: Reflecting on 2023 this Christmas

As we approach the festive season and reflect on the year gone by, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude for the incredible journey we have embarked on at Apira. It’s been a year filled with incredible milestones, growth, and a deepened commitment to our mission of transforming healthcare through technology.

This year has been nothing short of remarkable, marked by significant achievements and milestones that have shaped Apira into the thriving group it is today. Our unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence has allowed us to assist over 20 trusts in their digital journeys, encompassing Clinical System deployments, business cases, procurements, and a myriad of other transformative initiatives.

One of the highlights of this year has been the expansion of our Apira family. We have welcomed a multitude of new team members, both permanent and associate, each bringing their unique talents and perspectives to enrich our collaborative environment. To support our growing team, we introduced initiatives such as the Employee Assistance Programme, Mental Health first aiders and a brand new training platform, fostering a culture of continuous learning and well-being.

This year, Apira has been a presence at various events and expos, including Rewired, HPN, and the NHS Executive Strategy Summit. Notably, our collaboration with KMPG, Stalis, and Aire Logic in forming a groundbreaking EPR alliance has been a defining moment, further solidifying our commitment to innovation and excellence in healthcare technology.

Beyond the realm of healthcare, we’ve directed efforts toward making a positive impact on the communities around us. I am immensely proud of Apira’s contributions to remarkable charities such as the George Oliver Foundation and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. Our inaugural Apira Virtual Walk in September, where our team collectively achieved over 4 million steps while fundraising for Breast Cancer Now, stands as a testament to our commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.

As the year draws to a close, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our customers and suppliers for their steadfast support. I extend a special thank you to the entire Apira team for their unwavering commitment and hard work. Your dedication has been the driving force behind our success, and I am truly grateful to each and every one of you.

On behalf of all of us at Apira, I wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas filled with joy, peace, and the warmth of togetherness. May the coming year be one of fulfillment, growth, and endless possibilities.

Warm Regards,

Alan Brown Managing Director, Apira
